Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mechanical engineer responsible for designing high-temperature systems, with a focus on CAD design, ASME codes, and fabrication methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a multidisciplinary team to design, operate, and optimize a high temperature molten salt production process.
- Lead ECM of the process equipment.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to procure process equipment.
- Assist on the production floor as needed.
Qualifications:
- Required
- Experience with high temperature equipment and design
- CSWE or proven competency in CAD
- Familiarity with applicable ASME codes
- Demonstrated expertise in fabrication
- Ability to work with fabricators on manufacturability
- Experience in ASME code and ECM
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preferred
- Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries
- Experience with hazardous chemicals and laboratory settings
- PE license or FE certification highly preferred
